Back in 2017, BDB ran 2 Repair Cafe’s a month for 2 years, at THINQTANQ. We had a great time, and fixed hundreds of items. Unfortunately we no longer have the capacity to run them, but have worked with other organisations across Plymouth to create the  Repair Make & Mend Community (RMMC) which provides all the expertise and information needed for anyone who wants to host their own repairing events! https://repairmakemend.community/ 

Do you have things which need some TLC, or are a bit broken and you don’t have the time or skills to fix them yourself? Don’t throw them away, find your closest repairing event, and have a go at fixing them. You don’t need to be a handyman to fix most things and with a combination of caffeine, internet videos, encouragement, and some skill sharing you could well revive your items. Even if it can’t be fixed, you will still have a great time, meet new people and learn new skills!
