Got things which need some TLC, are perhaps a bit broken and you haven’t had the time or skills to fix them yourself? Don’t throw them away, find your closest repairing event, and have a go at fixing them. You don’t need to be a handyman to fix most things and with a combination of coffee, internet videos, encouragement, and some skills sharing you could well revive your possessions, save money and reduce your refuse footprint.

Even if it can’t be fixed, you will still have a great time, meet new people and learn new skills! We ran a bimonthly Repair Cafe at THINQTANQ for 2 years, had a great time, and fixed hundreds of items. But now it is time for us to join forces with other organisations across Plymouth who want to host their own repairing sessions and help them set up their own events!
